I am a composer for Film and TV experienced in creating emotional scores that drive forward themes and storytelling. My compositions blend jazz elements with orchestral electronica to give projects a unique and rich depth that supports the filmmaker’s visions.
Whilst studying at University of Bristol under Tess Tyler, Jonathan Pickard and Neil Farwell I developed my own compositional voice and approach into one of emotional subtly drawing influence from a variety of places from the depth of intricate film scores to raw emotion of folk music.
My quickly growing body of work, scoring across animation and short films has allowed me to thrive on variety, of genres, styles and tones, always aligning my score with the project’s core. This variety is seen across my most recent projects include Skye Pearson’s “Big Fat Rat,” Nathan Caffley’s “Sentenced,” starring Ian Hart and Benji Neville’s “7 AM.”
Beyond my half a decade experience in composing, my style within film has been influenced by maintaining a deep knowledge of the filmmaking process from pre production to post. My time at Films@59 has given me insights into how best I can align with directors and editors visions and how to work best with the incredible work that post sound teams produce. Learning from incredible sound team at Films@59 in order to integrate my bespoke scores into projects seamlessly.
