The emotive short film, written and directed by Tess Bowman, focuses on sex work, abuse and friendship.
With the sparse artistic approach, the music for this project had to focus on strong emotions, whilst keeping the music sparse so as to not feel disconnected from the film itself.
Due to difficulties in post-production timelines, starting composition without foley and dialogue posed an interesting challenge, creating opportunities to think differently and develop collaborative skills working with the post sound team to coordinate with SFX. The music scoring created for this project is atmospheric, emotional and adds depth to ensure cohesion within the film.
